FUCK.
The snowstorms here have only gotten worse, and their effects have shown themselves by caving in a large section of roof.
That specific area had already needed repairs for a while, so I'm not surprised, but I'm still very upset. This will cost thousands of dollars to fix, probably.
Even worse though is that that WHOLE section of area is COVERED in snow, both from the missing ceiling tiles and the open window (WHO DID IT???)
We tried to replace all the ceiling tiles we could use, and put a tarp over the roof to stop more snow from getting in. This was before we noticed the window.
I recorded a video to show off the damage. I got really mad in this one, even though I gave it comedic timing.
Note: I recorded it using the other camera, which is why the bloom looks different.
I bought a building!
i bought this building because some guy couldn't keep it anymore. i got it for a steal of a price, and it looks perfect for my art stuff. it used to be a furniture store, so there's all sorts of varied aesthetics on the different rooms. it's going to be great.
it came with this cool camera that i took some showcase images/videos for. there were some other photos on it too but i don't know where most of them're from. a different building i guess. i'il put some of these images here in the post, but you can find more in the gallery when i put them there.
here's the outside of the building, edited to how i want it to look when i open it.
here's a photo of the entrance room! it looks pretty snazzy, doesn't it?
here's a photo of one of the furniture spaces upstairs. there are lots of these throughout, i don't even know if i've seen all of them!
here's one more photo of a furniture space room. this one is pretty wide.
it's going to be a long time before i'll be ready to open, but i'm going to try and get things going.
